Ramón Vía o el activismo sin fronteras. Nodos transnacionales de resistencia antifascista en el norte de África y EEUU (1939-1946): de las redes comunistas a los servicios de operaciones especiales norteamericano

Resumen
El objetivo de este artículo es demostrar el papel clave que tuvieron los combatientes extranjeros en la construcción de redes transnacionales antifascistas durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Para ello se estudia el caso de Ramón Vía, un joven militante comunista español que, tras el final de la guerra civil convencional en España se refugió en Argelia, donde fue crucial para la construir dos nodos de resistencia transnacional antifascista entre 1939 y 1944: una red que conectó activistas comunistas de diferentes nacionalidades en Argelia y Francia, y una red que conectó activistas y soldados internacionales en EEUU, Argelia, Francia, Italia y España. En este sentido, este estudio combina dos enfoques de análisis. Por un lado, se inserta dentro del campo de la historia global, dado que presta especial atención a la movilidad de las personas y a su conectividad. Por otro lado, utiliza una metodología que se aproxima a la microhistoria mediante el análisis concreto de la trayectoria biográfica de un individuo,
